Take Hwy 240 to the end. The only road into Waipio valley begins at the Lookout. Vehicle access is by 4-wheel drive only.

One of the most beloved places in the Islands. A black sand beach has waves often good enough for surfing. Constant rip currents during the winter months. Legend states that the Door to the Underworld is near Waipio Beach!
