ANAHOLA COUNTY PARK
Take Hwy 56 to Anahola town. Just before going down the hill turn right onto Anahola Road. Drive about 1 mile to the bottom.

A small (1.4 acre) park popular with local residents. Extremely dangerous ocean conditions occur during periods of high surf including a pounding shorebreak and powerful rip currents.

Restrooms, showers, picnic tables, camping. Lifeguards only on Weekends & Holidays.

KEALIA BEACH
Easily accessible from Kuhio Hwy (Hwy 56) just past Mile Marker 10.

About 150 feet wide and half a mile long, attracting bodyboarders and surfers. During winter and spring periods of high surf, dangerous nearshore rip currents.

WAILUA BEACH
Located directly across Kuhio Highway (Hwy 56) from the Coco Palms Resort.

The 100-foot-wide beach stretches for 1/2-mile from the mouth of the Wailua River. Favorable conditions for bodysurfers, bodyboarders, and surfers. Dangerous water conditions during periods of high surf.

LYDGATE STATE PARK
Located on Leho Drive, south of the Kauai Resort, Wailua.

One of the most popular beach parks on Kauai - attracts many swimmers, picnickers, campers, fishermen, surfers, divers, and beachcombers. Its sand - bottomed pools are considered one of the safest swimming sites on the island.

Pavilion, restrooms, picnic tables, Kamalani Playground, lifeguards.
