OLOWALU BEACH
Honoapiilani Highway (Hwy 30) at Mile Marker 14, Olowalu

Great snorkeling - site of turtle heaven.

LAUNIUPOKO STATE WAYSIDE PARK
Approx. 3 miles south of Lahaina at Honoapiilani Hwy (Hwy 30) & Kai Hele Ku Street in Launiupoko (opp. entrance to Mahanalua Nui Subdivision)

Fronted by a large, man-made wading pool for children. An excellent vantage point to view all three offshore islands - Kahoolawe, Lanai and Molokai.

Parking, restrooms, showers, picnic tables, BBQ grills.

HANAKAOO BEACH PARK (CANOE BEACH)
Just north of Lahaina on Hwy 30W, past the Lahaina Police Station & before Kaanapali Resort. Turn left at sign for beach.

The park is heavily used by swimmers, snorkelers, and picnickers. Shorebreak attracts bodysurfers and bodyboarders. Outrigger canoe clubs' practice site.

Pavilions, parking, restrooms, showers, canoe shed, lifeguards.

KAANAPALI BEACH
From Lahaina Town, go north approx 4 miles to first turn off for Kaanapali at Halelo Street traffic light.

A four mile stretch of pristine sand fronting the world famous Kaanapali resorts. Periods of high surf generate dangerous water conditions, including a strong shorebreak and power rip currents.

Great visibility. Snorkel along an underwater cliff - considered to be among the best on the island.
