Enjoy the magic soothing ambience of this fingerstyle, instrumental musical artform created by Hawaiian paniolo (cowboys) in the early 1800's. The longest running concert of it's kind, set in a relaxed, family style building in the hamlet of Hanalei on the north shore of Kauai nestled against the emerald green mountains, rich taro fields, incredible rainbows, with soft tradewinds carrying the sounds of surf and Hawaii's birds through the building. Experience slack key music in the real old style while learning about it's history, legendary players, and the history, culture, and environment of old Hawaii. Incredible value and one of the most aloha experiences in Hawaii. Audiences consistently rate this show Excellent - a highlight of our trip! |
