The seriousness of the situation becomes quickly apparent. Women and children are ordered into the lifeboats, while the men are forced to stay behind. As the last of the lifeboats depart, those remaining accept their fate. In the wee hours of the morning, the survivors are rescued. In a stunning emotional finale, the survivors sing of the hope that they will one day be reunited with their lost loved ones, and realize their abandoned dreams. |
