On Wednesday, July 17, 2019, the East-West Center is excited to present the 5th Annual #galswithLEI Forum. It is the Center’s intention to benefit and celebrate women innovators and entrepreneurs in our community and throughout the Asia Pacific region by creating a space that enhances and encourages Leadership, Entrepreneurship, and Inspiration. Women of all ages and backgrounds are invited to gather at the heart of Honolulu for a unique opportunity to connect with women who epitomize leaders in their community. #galswithLEI offers a keynote panel and six interactive workshops, an open space enabling attendees to initiate small group discussions on issues of common concern and a networking reception featuring local female chefs including Chef Lee Anne Wong of Koko Head Cafe, Private Chef Regina Lapian, Paula and Cybil Stewart of Blondie’s Food Truck, Jesa Simpkins of Butcher & Bird, Pastry Chef April Bullis and Erin Kanno Uehara of Choco le`a.
#galswithLEI is not your typical event. Information sharing is purposeful, collaborative, and dynamic. Hawai‘i is rooted in the experience, ambition, and passion of its thriving communities. #galswithLEI offers the perfect opportunity for innovative women to grow and find their place in Hawai‘i’s collaborative environment and interwoven alliances.
