Gourd Design Workshop with instructors Lou Winn and Cherokee Shaner

 Saturday, October 12th from 1:00-4:00PM, at The Society for Kona’s Education & Art (SKEA), located at  84-5191 Mamalahoa Hwy, Captain Cook 96704 (between mile markers 105 and 106).

 

Tools and paints will be provided including a selection of dried gourds.  You may wish to bring wood burning tools or other materials for creating unique designs on your ‘ipu’. 

 

Tuition is $15 for SKEA members and $20 for non-members.   Space is limited to 15 participants.  This workshop is available to all ages and experience (children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult).  For more info or to register, please call (808) 328-9392 or email skea@hawaii.rr.com
