Don't miss the 10th Annual Kea`au Village Lighted Parade
Mark your calendars for Kea`au Village's 10th annual event – our Lighted Christmas Parade to be held on Saturday, December 14th rain or not. This year's theme is "A Very Green Christmas". Parade starts at Kea`au High School at 5:30pm, and continues on Kea`au Pahoa Road through the village, where judges will be watching to rate the creative efforts of as many as 50 floats, marching bands, and more! Our Business Decoration Contest is a people's choice contest, where community members can go to "Keaau Christmas Parade" Face Book page, look at pictures of contest entries and vote for their favorites. This is the fourth year we will be entertained by the students of Nawahi Hawaiian Immersion school, at the main town intersection at 5pm. This year's Grand Marshal is Mayor Billy Kenoi! Parade entry applications may be picked up at Keaau Village Market, or by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information, call 896-1236.
