Lorraine Godoy and Angie Libadisos, local Filipina in their 60’s tell their life stories, exploring myths about Filipinos. They cut deep to the “jugular” with wry & caustic humor & profoundly moving & diverse recollections of growing up in Hawaii. They share vibrant, honest, & true stories of hopes, crushed dreams, fathers & mothers, & the uncanny ways they found to survive. “Bradajo” (Brother Joe) is 3rd generation “haole” from Kauai is a “pidgin” poet and storyteller and tells stories of “small-kid: time growing up in Kauai in the 30’s, 40’s & 50’s.
