86TH ANNUAL MAUI COUNTY FAIR
Place: War Memorial, 1580 Kaahumanu Ave, Wailuku, HI 96793, (808) 242-2721

Wailuku War Memorial Complex. The oldest and best fair in Hawaii. Fair open until midnight with rides, games, exhibits, and entertainment on the Big Stage day and night. Orchidland is an huge floral display. Horticulture & Homemakers Exhibits. Livestock Tent has paniolo entertainment. Better Living Tent, Arts & Crafts tents. Huge Food Court with island specialties prepared by 50 non- profit groups. Tickets: $4 adults and paases for children ages 5 to 11 are $2 at the gate. 4 years and younger are free.

"NIGHT AT THE REEF" @ MAUI OCEAN CENTER

Maui Ocean Center celebrates International Year of the Reef in 2008 by launching a new program, inviting the public to visit the aquarium's Living Reef exhibits after-hours. Volunteers from local eco-organizations will be present with information on the state of Hawaii's coral reef eco-systems. Pupu and beverages will be available for purchase. www.mauioceancenter.com

ALOHA TEAM CLASSIC - 2008

The Aloha Team Classic - 2008 is a four day event on Maui where participants will enjoy two evening events, a three day amateur golf tournament on 3 of Maui's world class courses along with breakfast and lunch each day. Lot of great golf, magnificent views, marvelous food and lots of the Aloha Spirit.

HALLOWEEN IN LAHAINA

Halloween on world-famous Front Street is more than just a night on the town in costume. It includes Haunted Houses for kids, Costume Contests with great prizes for all ages, Children's Costume Parade beginning 4:30 pm, plus food, crafts and activities in Banyan Tree Park from 5pm. Live music and dancing fun take place along Front Street, which is closed to vehicle traffic from 4pm to Midnight. Contact Lahaina Visitor Center, 808-667-9193.
