The Accommodation features: A free-standing, artist-designed and built cottage on 1 acre of palms, papaya & citrus trees. An enclosed bedroom, open-walled living room, fully equipped kitchenette, "open-air" bathroom with shower, and lanai (patio). Sleeps up to 3 guests. The Location: Something out of the ordinary in the South Kona District - overlooking the famous "Place of Refuge" Puuhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park. Offering privacy and seclusion at 750 feet above sea level with an unobstructed view of the bay below.
Things to See & Do Nearby: Visit Puuhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park - the largest "place of refuge" in all Hawaii. Excellent diving and snorkeling in Honaunau Bay. Within 5 miles are 3 swim and snorkel beaches where dolphins and turtles frolic. Kealakekua Bay, to the north, hosts the famous Captain Cook Monument & awesome snorkeling. Horseback riding & local restaurants. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park - an easy 1.5 hour drive.	Living Room
Rates and Policies: From $85 per night (3 night minimum stay). Please add Hawaii Taxes of 11% to above rates. One time cleaning fee $40. 3 person maximum occupancy. $100 deposit due at time of booking to hold reservation. 50% of balance due 30 days prior to scheduled check-in; final balance due upon check-in. Cash, Personal or Travelers Checks, and Money Orders accepted. Cancellations require 30 days notice or deposit forfeited.
