HALEIWA TOWN

A plantation town that has come of age - old general stores co-exist with modern boutiques, art galleries and eateries. Former summer playground of Queen Liliuokalani, Hawaii's last reigning monarch. Largest marina on the north shore.

MOKULEIA BEACH PARK

Deserted surfing and windsurfing beach for experts. Hike to Kaena Point - where west and north shores meet, creating Hawaii's largest waves. Nearby Dillingham Airfield is used mainly for recreation such as glider soaring, hang-gliding, parachuting, and sky jumping.
